BINA: The Jewish Movement for Social Change
BINA also offers seminars and public events, including weekly Jewish learning experiences in English at BINA's Secular Yeshiva in Tel Aviv. Each session will consist of two classes: one taught by an up-and-coming teacher, and one taught by a teachers who are already involved with the BINA family. BINA also hosts some Hebrew programming in Jerusalem.

Hartman iEngage Shababtonim
The Sholom Hartman Institute hosts two retreats in Jerusalem (one in the fall and one in the spring) for rabbinical students in Israel. The retreats explore different components of the Hartman iEngage curriculum and feature top Hartman scholars. Topics include Jewish Values & the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict. Participants do not have to be part of the Hartman Rabbinical Students Seminar cohort (see below).

The Rabbinical Students Seminar is an intensive, experiential weekly learning seminar for rabbinic students of all denominations and rabbinic programs who are spending the year in Israel. Our seminar aims to create a safe and welcoming framework for weekly study with top Hartman scholars, interesting Israeli guest speakers and an open and sincere trans-denominational conversation among rabbinical students from different seminaries. You do not need to apply until the summer.

Machon Hadar has opened a yeshiva in Israel and holds regular classes in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv with top scholars on a range of subjects. These programs are almost all in Hebrew.

Or HaLev is a center for Jewish spirituality and meditation founded by Rabbi Dr. James Jacobson-Maisels. We teach Torat Chayyim, a Torah of insight into everyday life and the practice of skillful living. We teach an authentic Jewish path of wisdom and spiritual practices which lead to living with more depth, authenticity, joy, and compassion. We organize silent meditation retreats throughout the year.
