Harel
You can get Harel insurance for $1.30/day for the duration of your stay in Israel. This will cover regular doctor's visits and antibiotics. It does not cover psychiatry or pre-existing conditions.
Maccabi
Maccabi allows foreigners to join a kupat cholim like Israelis do and the cost is just slightly more expensive than tourist insurance from Harel.
Important!
You do not need to pay the Columbia Health Services Fee if you are studying abroad in Israel. This is a newer policy, so make sure to double check your tuition statement from JTS.
